Following her success in raising over £500 for Wellbeing of Women and participating in UK'S National Miss Pageant in Lancashire this weekend, local Pharmacist and Mum of two Emily Bond will now go on to compete in Britain's longest running beauty contest. The event takes place in Leicester on Friday 18th October 2024 and includes Swimwear, Fashionwear and Eveningwear. 'I've been having such a great time meeting new people in pageantry,' advises Emily, aged 42. 'The best part of pageantry is being able to raise money and awareness for charitable causes, and the chosen charities for this platform are Cancer Research UK and Alex's Wish'. Emily is due to launch a Wellbeing prize draw to raise funds for Alex's Wish, a charity set up to eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. You can find out more about it at https://alexswish.co.uk . Her campaign is sponsored by Rhijuvenate Aesthetics, a local company in Petersfield specialising in aesthetic skin treatments.
This week the Hampshire countryside was busy with the creation of the UK's National Ms Hampshire 2025 Calendar in aid of Wellbeing of Women. 'I'm very excited to launch this fundraising project shortly,' said Emily Bond, current UK's National Ms Hampshire (2023/2024). 'The family friendly calendar will provide an insight into my pageant journey to the UK's National Miss Finals in July 2024, and showcase the work I have been doing to support both local causes and those wider afield. I can't wait to see how much I can raise for Wellbeing of Women!' The charity funds research into reproductive and gynaecological medicine, as well as developing education to highlight awareness of women's health challenges.
UK's National Ms Hampshire Emily Bond took to the airwaves yesterday at the BBC Radio Solent Studios in Southampton. The pageant finalist was joined by veteran pageant queen Aryana Neo on the Lucy Ambache 'Friday Social' Afternoon show to talk all things pageantry. Emily also shared details about her professional role as a Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber in General Practice and her passion for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic medicine.
Local Pharmacist and mother of two Emily Bond is hoping to secure the title of UK’s National Ms 2024/2025 on the stage at this year’s UK National Miss Pageant in July. The 41 year old Waterlooville hopeful @mshampshirenationaluk2024 is feeling positive that her professional achievements and sparkling personality will shine through alongside poise and glamour. She explained ‘After my divorce last year, I needed to discover the real me and explore my journey after marriage. I’ve always had an interest in fashion, fundraising and uplifting others, so this felt like an environment where I would flourish.’
So far, Emily has supported several local charities including Parents and Carers Support Organisation (PACSO) and Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal, the latter via her daughter’s school event. She hopes to launch her own dinner and cocktail fundraiser this summer in aid of Wellbeing of Women, a charity cherished by her friend and colleague Dr Emma Bowley, who sadly passed away suddenly in
January of this year.
Emily is also delighted to announce that she has been sponsored by Rhijuvenate Aesthetics, a local beauty company lead by Rhiain. With her 19 years of medical experience and a passion for improving skin, restoring confidence, and slowing signs of aging, Rhiain took a leap of faith and opened her own clinic to help others with body positivity in October last year. The Rhijuvenate Aesthetics Clinic is in the centre of Petersfield and offers a range of treatments including facials, fillers and vitamin injections.
